Who are we?
Business Northwest is a group of professionals who provide support services to business owners. We come from a variety of industries and backgrounds with the goal of ultimately getting the latest in innovation in front of you.
What is this "Virtual Seminar / Conference" thing?
The Business Northwest Virtual Seminar / Conference series are not Webinars. They are a highly interactive series of presentations utilizing a full Learning Management System (LMS) to take advantage of a multitude of tools to enhance the experience. Videos, live chat with the presenters, discussion board conversations for long-term interaction with presenters and peers, guided paths to more insite for some topics, and surveys to let the speakers know what you thought.
There are virtual conferences out there which go over the top with the technology to try and replicate the real-world experience as closely as possible, but we've taken a different approach. Replicating the content while minimizing the requirements to participate. No software downloads. No system requirements other then what we all already have...a flash-enabled browser. (people have even used good mobile setups to connect to our system!)
We've tried to give you a small amount of the "g-whiz" factor with the site itself, but would rather you feel that way about the presented material.
